Solutions Architect, Snowflake & Anthropic (Pre-Sales & Delivery)

We're looking for a Data & AI Solutions Architect who both sells and delivers. As a small team, we expect our architects to own the full lifecycle: you will join the discovery sessions, translate business problems into a clear architecture on the platforms we partner with such as Snowflake, DOMO, dbt and Anthropic, scope and estimate the work, help close the deal, and then roll up your sleeves to build and deliver it. What you sell is what you deliver. You will work directly with clients' finance, operations, and data leaders, as well as with our leadership and delivery engineers.

This is an ideal role for someone who is equally comfortable whiteboarding a data platform, writing a statement of work, building the pipelines and models behind it, and shipping an AI agent that answers questions over governed enterprise data. You enjoy owning outcomes, thrive in a fast-moving startup, and care more about business value than technology for its own sake.

Pre-Sales, Discovery & Scoping

• Lead technical discovery with prospects and clients to understand their data landscape, key business processes behind data challenges, pain points, and success criteria
• Prepare and run structured discovery sessions and technical deep-dives across data sources, pipelines, governance, security, and reporting needs
• Lead scoping engagements and build estimates, work breakdowns, staffing plans, and timelines that are realistic, defensible, and tied to business outcomes
• Author proposals, SOWs, and client-facing technical decks, and present them confidently to both executive and technical audiences
• Partner with leadership on pursuit strategy, qualification, and project estimation, and flag delivery risks and assumptions early

Solution Architecture & Design

• Design end-to-end solutions on Snowflake, including ingestion, modeling, transformation, security, governance, performance, and cost management
• Architect AI-enabled solutions that combine Snowflake, Cortex and Anthropic's Claude, such as natural-language analytics, document and unstructured data extraction, agents, and workflow automation
• Apply Snowflake capabilities such as Cortex AI functions, Cortex Analyst and Search, Snowpark, and Streamlit where they fit, and choose when to use the Claude API directly versus inside Snowflake
• Design retrieval, tool use, and MCP-based integrations, along with evaluation, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop patterns that make AI solutions safe and trustworthy in an enterprise setting
• Document architectures, decisions, and trade-offs so clients and delivery teams can build with confidence

Hands-On Delivery

• Own technical delivery of the engagements you sell, from kickoff through production handoff, including build, testing, deployment, collaboration with the Project Management Office, and documentation
• Build hands-on in Snowflake and with the Claude API: ingestion pipelines, data models, transformations, Cortex-based features, agents, and integrations
• Lead delivery workstreams, coordinate with engineers and client teams, and keep scope, timelines, budget, and risks on track through regular status reporting
• Manage scope and change requests with PMO, set expectations with client stakeholders, and make sure delivered work maps back to the original business case and SOW
• Deliver data migrations from legacy platforms (for example SQL Server, Teradata, Informatica, SAS, or BI tools) to Snowflake, including mapping, validation, and cutover
• Build proofs of concept, demos, and accelerators that show clients the art of the possible in days, not months
• Mentor and review the work of other engineers, and feed lessons from delivery back into our estimates and reusable assets
• Help clients adopt AI responsibly by pairing the technology with data governance, access controls, and clear business use cases

Client Partnership & Thought Leadership

• Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, translating complex data and AI concepts into plain business language
• Contribute reusable assets such as reference architectures, estimation templates, discovery frameworks, and POV content on Snowflake, Claude, and AI readiness
• Collaborate with Snowflake and Anthropic partner teams on joint opportunities, co-selling, and technical enablement
• Represent BlueYeti at client workshops, webinars, and partner events

Required

• 5+ years of experience in a solutions architect, solutions engineer, data architect, or technical consulting role, ideally in a consultancy or customer-facing environment
• Strong hands-on experience with data modeling techniques, data pipeline development, writing complex SQL sentences, development and data integration skills using Python, security and governance, performance and cost optimization using Snowflake as the main platform to set those functionalities.Demonstrated experience scoping projects and producing estimates, SOWs, or technical proposals, and a track record of then delivering those projects hands-on
• Experience leading or owning client delivery, including managing scope, timelines, stakeholders, and handoff
• Working knowledge of building with LLMs, ideally Anthropic's Claude API (prompting, tool use, retrieval, evaluation), and a clear point of view on where AI does and does not belong in a data workflow
• Experience with modern data stack tooling such as dbt, ELT/ingestion tools such as fivetran, orchestration, and BI platforms such as PowerBI, Tableau or DOMO, plus proficiency in SQL and Python
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to present to executives and explain technical trade-offs simply
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, startup environment with a high degree of autonomy

Nice to Have

• SnowPro certification (Core, Architect, or Data Engineer) and/or Anthropic or other AI certifications
• Experience with legacy-to-cloud data migrations and migration tooling
• Familiarity with data governance, MDM, or data quality practices, and with platforms such as Domo
• Background serving mid-market companies or private equity portfolio companies, in finance or operations use cases
• Prior experience working with a distributed, remote-first team
