You will evaluate customer environments, identify readiness and security gaps, configure Microsoft 365 Copilot and Agent 365 capabilities, and develop practical recommendations for operating AI securely and cost-effectively at enterprise scale.

The role supports Microsoft 365 E5 / E7, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Chat, Copilot Cowork, Work IQ, Microsoft 365 Copilot Agent Builder, Copilot connectors, Copilot Studio governance, Microsoft Entra Agent ID, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Agent 365. The primary focus is platform deployment, administration, security, governance, cost management, and agent lifecycle management.

Role Description

  • Lead Microsoft 365 Copilot deployments, including prerequisite validation, licensing, feature enablement, administrative configuration, pilot planning, rollout support, and expansion.
  • Help customers evaluate and operationalize Microsoft 365 E7, including Microsoft 365 Copilot, Agent Builder, and Agent 365.
  • Review SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, Outlook, and other Microsoft 365 Apps to identify oversharing, excessive permissions, unmanaged content, external access, ownerless sites, and related data-exposure risks.
  • Analyze how Microsoft Graph, identity, permissions, content quality, and information architecture affect Copilot grounding, security, and response quality.
  • Support Copilot Chat, Copilot Cowork, Cowork apps, Work IQ, Microsoft 365 Copilot Agent Builder, declarative agents, connectors, plugins, and related Copilot experiences.
  • Help customers assess, onboard, configure, secure, govern, and operationalize Microsoft Agent 365.
  • Support agent inventory, ownership, registration, monitoring, exception management, approvals, periodic reviews, ownership transfers, agent blocking and retirement.
  • Configure and support Microsoft Entra Agent ID, Conditional Access, least-privilege access, access packages, access reviews, and lifecycle workflows for applicable agent scenarios.
  • Implement Microsoft Purview controls, including sensitivity labels, Data Loss Prevention policies, retention, auditing, eDiscovery, and applicable Data Security Posture Management for AI capabilities.
  • Evaluate Microsoft Defender capabilities for agent inventory, security posture, threat visibility, investigation, and response.
  • Support Copilot Studio and Power Platform governance, including administrative controls, environment strategy, connector governance, sharing boundaries, DLP policies, and agent lifecycle standards.
  • Plan and govern Copilot Credit consumption across Copilot Cowork, Cowork apps, Work IQ APIs, Copilot Studio, and other supported usage-based AI services.
  • Establish spending policies, usage limits, service access, alerts, and credit-allocation approaches for users, groups, business units, use cases, and applicable environments.
  • Monitor Copilot Credit consumption, analyze usage and cost trends, identify capacity risks, and recommend adjustments based on expected demand and business value.
  • Help customers develop budgets, consumption forecasts, capacity plans, and showback or chargeback approaches as part of an AI FinOps operating model.
  • Collaborate with SHI licensing specialists on Microsoft 365 E7, Copilot Credits, prepaid capacity, pay-as-you-go consumption, subscriptions, and technical dependencies.
  • Develop and implement PowerShell scripts for Microsoft 365 assessment, administration, configuration validation, automation, documentation, and reporting.
  • Lead customer discovery sessions, technical assessments, governance workshops, and findings presentations.
  • Help customers establish AI councils or Centers of Excellence, responsible AI practices, decision rights, use-case intake processes, ownership standards, and governance roadmaps.
  • Translate technical findings into prioritized recommendations, remediation plans, implementation roadmaps, and operational runbooks.
