Role Overview PortX is seeking a highly motivated Solutions Engineer to partner closely with sales and support customers throughout the sales cycle. You will play a critical role in understanding customer integration requirements, designing and presenting tailored solutions, delivering compelling product demonstrations, and acting as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and experience in integration technologies who enjoys combining solution design, customer engagement, and strategic sales support. Key Responsibilities Partner with Account Executives on account planning and opportunity strategy Drive solution selling throughout the sales cycle Gather and analyze customer integration requirements and business use cases Scope and design technical solutions that integrate with core banking systems and fintech applications that are compatible with their current existing infrastructure Prepare and present solution proposals and technical recommendations Package and deliver product, platform, and solution demonstrations Build credibility as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers Collaborate with the Customer Experience team to ensure effective knowledge transfer during handoff from sales to delivery Willingness to travel for onsite customer meetings (10-20%) Required Skills and Experience Strong technical background, including leveraging AI tools in your work Experience designing and supporting integration solutions Strong understanding of APIs, services, and modern integration patterns Ability to create and present technical solution designs clearly and effectively Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences Comfortable leading white-boarding sessions and engaging directly with customers Required Soft Skills Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform high-level discovery and translate complex requirements into practical solutions and demos Excellent spoken and written English communication skills Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a remote environment Highly organized, with strong prioritization and time management skills Flexible and responsive, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and tight deadlines Confident, customer-facing presence with the ability to build trust and engagement This is a chance to join a fast-growing company at the forefront of AI-powered banking integration and data innovation.
