SOLUTIONS TESTING ENGINEER
Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Solutions Testing Engineer to lead the validation and security assessment of complex IT service infrastructures. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, performance, and compliance of network solutions across diverse cloud environments. Your expertise will be critical in designing robust testing strategies that align with global security standards, mitigating risks, and maintaining a strong security posture for multi-vendor network ecosystems. This position demands a deep understanding of automation, network architecture, and regulatory frameworks to drive continuous improvement in our security operations.
Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive testing protocols for network security configurations, ensuring alignment with CIS Benchmarks and NIST Frameworks.
- Develop and maintain automated testing scripts using Python and Bash to streamline validation processes and enhance efficiency.
- Assess and validate network security controls, including firewall rule sets and segmentation strategies, across hybrid cloud environments.
- Conduct rigorous security posture management activities to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures in multi-vendor settings.
- Perform in-depth testing of virtual network architectures, including AWS VPC, Azure VNet, and GCP VPC configurations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate the deployment of security solutions and ensure they meet organizational standards.
- Document test results, security findings, and compliance reports to support audit requirements and strategic decision-making.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Possess over 10 years of professional experience within the IT Services sector, specifically focusing on network security and testing.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in CIS Benchmarks and NIST Frameworks for security compliance and hardening.
- Show strong technical command of Python and Bash scripting for the creation of automation tools and testing frameworks.
- Hold relevant industry certifications such as CCNP, Security+, or CEH to validate expertise in network security and ethical hacking.
- Exhibit hands-on experience with major cloud networking platforms, including AWS VPC, Azure VNet, and GCP VPC.
- Possess a proven track record in configuring and testing firewall rules and implementing effective network segmentation strategies.
- Have extensive knowledge of managing security posture and navigating complex multi-vendor network environments.
