Your role

As S&OP Demand Manager, you will report to the Supply Chain Director and play a key role in Lutosa’s overall planning and performance.

As the central point of contact for the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process, your mission is to ensure reliable demand planning, align market requirements with available operational capacities, and provide a structured framework for decision-making, risk identification and scenario planning.

You will contribute directly to the overall performance of the company, with the objective of maximising Lutosa’s profitability while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Act as the central reference point for the S&OP process at Lutosa. Ensure the continuity and development of the different stages, and oversee their deployment and integration into McCain’s monthly S&OP process.
  • Lead the Demand Review and IOR stages and support the Supply Review, in collaboration with the Product Management and Planning teams. Develop, obtain approval for and monitor 24-month demand forecasts.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the S&OP process to strengthen its maturity and performance, particularly in terms of the Product Management Review and monetisation.
  • Contribute to the development of an S&OE (Sales & Operations Execution) approach.
  • Develop statistical forecasts based on historical data, across different customer-product-location dimensions and hierarchies.
  • Organise monthly forecast reviews, analyse variances between planned demand, updated forecasts and targets, and ensure reporting and action follow-up.
  • Challenge the different departments and sales teams based on available data, in order to ensure realistic forecasts and promote fact-based decision-making.
  • Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, Finance, Production, Planning, Supply Chain, Logistics and Customer Service teams to align demand, operational capacities and the company’s financial objectives.
  • Lead and monitor the main S&OP process KPIs, including: Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias, Service Level (OTIF), Sales Achievement and Capacity Level.
  • Identify risks, propose different scenarios and ensure the necessary escalations to the relevant decision-making levels.

Your profile

  • You have a Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • You have solid experience in S&OP, with a minimum of 10 years’ experience, and particularly strong expertise in Demand Management.
  • You have excellent Excel skills and good data visualisation skills.
  • You have good knowledge of ERP systems. Experience with SAP IBP is a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of the food industry is an asset but is not essential.
  • You are rigorous, analytical and results-oriented, with the ability to analyse large volumes of data and integrate financial considerations into decision-making.
  • You have excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills. You are able to bring different stakeholders together and constructively challenge your counterparts.

Languages

You are fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.
