Outset is backed by top Silicon Valley investors and raised a $30M Series B in December 2025—less than six months after our Series A—led by Radical Ventures with participation from M12 (Microsoft’s venture arm), 8VC, Y Combinator, and Adverb Ventures. The raise follows a breakout year, with our business growing 8x as enterprise customers across industries adopt our category, AI‑moderated research, as the new standard for understanding people. We’re a tight-knit team serving some of the world’s largest enterprises. We're hiring a Sourcer to support our recruiting team on a full-time, temporary 3 month basis. This role is responsible for building and managing top-of-funnel candidate pipelines across active roles, partnering closely with recruiters and hiring managers to keep pipelines full of qualified, engaged candidates. This is a fixed-term W-2 position. You'll be an employee of Outset for the duration of the 3 month assignment, eligible for benefits. This role is 4 days onsite in San Francisco, CA. Responsibilities Build and execute sourcing strategies for open roles across the organization, using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Ashby, and Boolean search Proactively identify, engage, and qualify passive candidates through outbound outreach Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and refine sourcing criteria Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records and pipeline status in Ashby Track and report on sourcing metrics (response rates, pipeline conversion, time-to-fill contributions) Help maintain a strong candidate experience from first outreach through handoff Qualifications 2+ years of sourcing experience, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment Strong written communication skills - you can write outreach that gets responses Comfort with sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search strings, Ashby experience a plus) Highly organized, able to manage multiple open roles and pipelines simultaneously Self-starter who can work with ambiguity and tight timelines Comfortable in a fast-paced, temporary engagement with clear deliverables
