Elevation Recruitment Group is working alongside a leading manufacturing organisation that is seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager to join its UK team. The role is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for all assigned product categories, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and supply continuity. The role combines strategic sourcing with supplier management, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring to support a high-performing supply chain.

Responsibilities of the Sourcing Manager:

• Develop and implement commodity sourcing strategies for all assigned categories
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to meet quality and sustainability requirements
• Lead contract negotiations and establish pricing agreements
• Drive cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing and value engineering
• Rationalise supplier/SKU base, consolidating volumes to strategic or preferred vendors
• Analyse market trends, supply risks, and cost drivers; develop contingency plans
• Manage supplier performance, reporting on quality, delivery, cost, and innovation
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, and finance teams

Skills & Experience:

• 5 years’ experience in a commercial, procurement, or commodity management role
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Strategic sourcing expertise across multiple product categories
• Experience in supplier relationship management and risk management
• Cost analysis and financial acumen
• Data analysis experience (ERP/MRP systems preferred)
• Project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Knowledge of automotive industry requirements (desirable)
