Sourcing Manager – Mixed Materials, Vita
ABOUT US
With brands like Georg Jensen, Royal Copenhagen, Iittala, Wedgewood and Waterford - VITA Brands is at the forefront of premium lifestyle and design, known for our innovative approach and unwavering commitment to quality. We inspire through exceptional design, blending traditions with forward-thinking strategies to engage a global audience. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a Sourcing Manager - Mixed Materials to help shape the future of our brands and markets.
WHAT YOU’LL DO AT VITA BRANDS
The role will focus on developing and sourcing home accessories combining materials such as metal, leather, wood and other materials, working closely with our brands, design teams and supplier partners.
We are looking for someone who understands both materials and manufacturing – and, importantly, knows how to identify the right suppliers and capabilities to turn a creative idea into a high-quality, commercially viable product.
WHAT YOU BRING
• Experience in sourcing and developing multi-material products, ideally within home accessories or related product categories.
• Strong knowledge of products and materials such as metal, leather and wood, including manufacturing processes, finishing and construction.
• Fluency in “designer language” – you can understand the creative vision, work from a design brief, sketch or mood board, and translate it into something a supplier can develop and manufacture.
• A strong supplier network and the ability to identify specialist manufacturers and new sourcing opportunities globally.
• Experience working closely with design, product development, quality and other cross-functional teams.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with a good understanding of costing, quality, lead times and supplier performance.
• A structured and organized way of working – comfortable managing several projects, suppliers and timelines in parallel, while keeping track of details and follow-ups.
• Experienced in working as part of a global organization, collaborating across different functions, brands, markets and cultures.
WHO YOU ARE
Your background could include experience in:
• Mixed-material product development
• Specialist manufacturers working across several materials
• Home assortment and decorative products • Leather goods and accessories • Metal, wood and leather product development
You understand what it takes to combine different materials, suppliers and manufacturing techniques into products that meet both design and commercial expectations.
