Join our Procurement team in this fixed-term opportunity and play a key role in delivering strategic sourcing outcomes that support the reliable delivery of essential services to our communities.
As a Sourcing Specialist, Service Delivery, you'll lead end-to-end sourcing activities for operational and minor capital procurements, partnering closely with stakeholders across Service Delivery to deliver value-for-money outcomes, manage risk and support organisational objectives.
Working with operational teams, suppliers and commercial stakeholders, you'll develop sourcing strategies, manage tender processes, evaluate supplier responses and negotiate commercial outcomes. You'll also provide trusted procurement advice and contribute to the successful delivery of category plans and sourcing pipelines.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced procurement professional who enjoys commercial negotiations, strategic sourcing and working with stakeholders to solve business challenges.
- Remuneration will be commensurate with the skills, experience, qualifications and capabilities demonstrated throughout the recruitment process
- Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, from strategy development through to contract execution.
- Develop sourcing strategies and market approaches aligned to business requirements and procurement frameworks.
- Prepare and manage procurement documentation, including tender and evaluation materials.
- Lead commercial, technical and risk evaluations of supplier submissions.
- Negotiate commercial terms and contract outcomes with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Provide procurement advice and guidance to stakeholders across Service Delivery and the broader business.
- Identify opportunities to deliver commercial savings and operational efficiencies.
- Significant experience delivering end-to-end procurement and sourcing activities.
- Proven experience leading complex tenders and negotiating commercial outcomes.
- Sound knowledge of procurement methodologies, supplier management and sourcing strategies.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance risk, value and business outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking capability.
- Experience working with e-sourcing and contract management systems.
- Experience within public sector or regulated environments (Highly regarded)
