P . , you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, including client relations, cost, schedule, quality and safety. This position will be Monday to Friday; however, depending on project requirements the schedule may fluctuate . The loc ation for this position will be based out of Saskatoon, however project specific locations are required , including Northern mines . Job Duties Promote a healthy and positive safe working environment for the project by showing effective leadership and participation in safety related matters . Work with Director of Project Delivery for turnover of awarded projects from estimating to the project team . Kick off projects with clients, subcontractors, and vendors . Organize project team and manage workloads . Direct initiat ion of activities (i.e. procurement, contracts, etc. ). Work with project teams on effective planning and strategizing to execute projects . Work with the team to p rovide client reporting including schedule, cost and safety . Change management reporting (schedule & cost) . Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, from property managers to subcontractors . Drive the objectives of project teams and subcontractors on-site . Maintain and liaise with clients, building professional relationships . Attend and participate in daily/weekly/monthly meetings as required by the client or head office . Bring projects in safely, on time, to quality and within budget . Forecast project costs to controls team . Field audit participation, communication with direct workforce . Provide project updates to S outh East Construction L.P. ’s c orporate m anagement . Estimating of projects as require d . Qualifications E xperience in project management with focus on the mining and industrial construction sector s preferred, however, willing to train the right candidate. Effective leader ship , good problem-solving skills, planning, organizing, and priority setting skills combined with a strong work ethic Ability to think critically and make independent decisions Work in team setting and individually Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent track record in safety management Must be open and flexible to change, take initiative and be a team player Computer literacy is a must (Microsoft O ffice S uite, P rimavera ) Must be legally entitled to work in Canada Pre-employment medical exam and drug test will be required Total Compensation With this opportunity, a competitive Total Compensation Package , including fair and equitable salary and a co mprehensive group benefit pl an including a n RRSP Match Program , company vehicle, fuel, and bonus will be offered.
