Help Shape the Next Generation of Women Leaders Think back to a coach, teacher, manager, or mentor who believed in you before you fully believed in yourself. At Women’s Coaching Alliance (WCA), mentors have the opportunity to be that person for the next generation of female leaders. WCA develops young women leaders (ages 15–26) through coaching youth sports. Our coaches are current and former athletes learning how to lead teams, communicate under pressure, navigate challenges, and build confidence. As a WCA Mentor, you’ll support a small group of coaches during an 8–10 week season, helping them reflect on their experiences and grow as leaders. This is a flexible, remote volunteer role designed to fit alongside your existing commitments while making a meaningful impact. What You’ll Do Meet weekly for 30-minute virtual check-ins with 2–4 coaches Help coaches navigate real experiences from practices and games Guide conversations around confidence, communication, teamwork, leadership, and resilience Encourage reflection and personal growth throughout the season Complete mentor onboarding and training Maintain consistent communication with coaches Occasional in-person attendance at practices or games is welcome, but not required.
