Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Spanish-English Interpreter. The interpreter will provide real-time interpretation for calls, meetings, and virtual sessions, ensuring accurate and culturally appropriate communication between Spanish- and English-speaking parties. Daily responsibilities include performing medical and general interpretation, handling simultaneous and consecutive interpreting tasks, and providing clear, neutral, and confidential language services. The role may involve translation of short documents or call scripts, accurate note-taking, and adherence to client-specific protocols and quality standards. The interpreter will collaborate with team members, participate in periodic training, and maintain professionalism and client focus in a fast-paced virtual environment.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Interpreting and Language Services, with the ability to facilitate clear, accurate communication between Spanish and English speakers.
- Capability in Translation for short written materials such as call scripts, instructions, and brief client communications.
- Native or near-native proficiency in both Spanish and English, with excellent listening and speaking skills.
- Strong ethical standards, including confidentiality, impartiality, and adherence to professional codes of conduct.
- Comfort working remotely, with reliable internet access, a quiet workspace, and familiarity with virtual call center tools.
