The Special Exposures Management Risk & Operations team supports the handling of non-retail clients transferred to workout as a proactive partner of Workout Managers. We combine accurate coordination, regulatory discipline, data quality and operational risk control with process optimization, digitalization, and automation to support restructuring and recovery activities more efficiently.

Your mission at RBI:

  • Cooperate with the Workout Managers as a proactive partner in the implementation of impairment provisions, restructurings, write-offs, loan sales and related follow-up actions
  • Coordinate with Accounting, Credit Risk, Collateral Management, Loan Administration, Treasury, Legal Services and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely processing
  • Ensure the coordination and monitoring of forbearance-related processes in line with regulatory requirements
  • Maintain default information in related applications, approvals, and documentation while monitoring data quality and process compliance
  • Manage the process around the workout costs including monitoring of the existing limits
  • Identify and report risks within the processes and actively contribute to process improvements, digitalization initiatives and automation opportunities
  • Contribute to the development of structured follow-up tools, dashboards, reporting routines, and AI-supported solutions that increase quality and efficiency

Your core competencies:

  • Experience with restructuring, banking operations, accounting processes, credit risk or another relevant financial-services area
  • Ability to coordinate operational topics across different functions, communicate process requirements clearly with timely, solution-oriented follow-up
  • General understanding of regulations related to individual loan loss provisions, governance and risk management requirements
  • Risk-based thinking with the ability to connect actions, data signals, and process decisions to their impact on results, portfolio quality, and regulatory outcomes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and openness to working with digital tools, workflow trackers, dashboards, and automation-supported processes
  • Working proficiency in German and English for verbal and written correspondence with internal and external stakeholders
  • Curiosity for continuous improvement, readiness to learn new topics, and hands-on approach

  • Competitive salary: In accordance with Austrian legal requirements, the minimum salary for this position is EUR 3.375,40 gross per month under the applicable Banking Collective Agreement. The actual salary is typically higher and will be determined individually based on your qualifications, professional experience, and the specific requirements of the role.
