About Aampere

Join Aampere, a seed-stage, VC-backed startup redefining the European market for used electric vehicles. We let EV owners sell within 48 hours and give dealers across Europe access to new customer segments. The market is fragmented, opaque, and hard to trust, and we are building the infrastructure that fixes it, so more electric cars get a second life and the shift to electric actually accelerates.

And it is working: we grow revenue 4x year over year and already hold more than 1% of German consumer EV resales. Our team comes from the German startup scene and the automotive world, with experience at Autarc, Limehome, Cardino, Wemolo, Alasco, Porsche, Mercedes and KPMG.

This is a front-row seat to how a startup gets built and run. You are the right hand of our Chief of Staff, Benni, who was employee number one at a YC-backed startup and worked at several top-tier VC-backed startups before Aampere. You sit where the company gets steered, work across every function, and take real ownership from week one. If you want to learn how to operate a startup from the inside, from People to GTM to Strategy to Ops, there are very few better seats.

Your Mission

Drive the projects that have no owner yet. Some of our most important work falls between the teams. Think building our PR from scratch, rolling out AI across the company, designing our feedback process or launching a growth campaign. You take a project, shape it and push it until it is live.

Switch arenas every few months. Every project drops you into a different part of the business, Marketing today, Engineering and Ops tomorrow. You learn how each function actually works and build a range most people take years to collect.

Work side by side with the Chief of Staff. Our Chief of Staff is your sparring partner on every project, from scoping to the final push. You sit in the rooms where priorities get set, so you always know why your project matters.

Move at startup speed. A lot happens ad hoc and decisions land fast. You bring the structure, close the gaps and move before anyone asks.

What you bring

You are a generalist who defaults to ownership. You see the gap and you close it. You bring order to messy problems and are at your best when you have to draw the path yourself.

You have already performed at the top. Currently studying or recently graduated from a top university, with a track record at a leading consultancy or a hypergrowth startup. You operate above your level, and you can prove it.

You get your hands dirty. You turn a concept into something that runs, whether that means building an automation, writing a press pitch or setting up a campaign. Hands-on experience with AI tools is a big plus.

You are fluent in German and English. You move between German-speaking partners and press and an English-speaking team without friction.

You think beyond six months. This is a six-month, full-time internship, and if you are exceptional we want you to stay. Come in thinking about where this leads.

Aampere isn't for you if...

...you want to work mostly remote. We believe the best ideas happen when people are in the same room. That is why you are in our office at least four days a week.

...you want to walk into ready-made processes and structures. A lot of that does not exist here yet. We are looking for people who build structures and processes, not people who administer them.

...you need a finished plan before you start. Seed stage means a lot is unclear and changes week to week. You have to be comfortable making decisions in the dark and correcting course as you go.

...you want to stay in your lane. "That is not my job" is not a thing here. You jump in where it matters, even when it sits outside your job description.
...you want a classic 9-to-5. We are building something big, and that does not happen on the side. The people here want to go all in, not just put in the time.
