Job Description Role Purpose As Specialist - Artificial Intelligence at Accelya, you will design and build AI/ML models and intelligent features, contributing meaningfully to the AI capabilities that differentiate Accelya's airline software platform. Duties & Responsibilities • Design and develop production-ready ML models for airline domain applications including revenue optimisation, demand forecasting and offer personalisation • Build end-to-end ML pipelines from data ingestion through model training, evaluation and deployment on AWS SageMaker • Use GitHub Copilot, Claude and AI-assisted experiment tools to accelerate model development and improve code quality • Apply LLM fine-tuning, RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) and prompt engineering for generative AI features in the airline platform • Partner with product and data teams to translate airline business problems into ML solutions • Lead MLOps implementation, establishing model monitoring, drift detection and automated retraining pipelines • Mentor junior AI engineers on ML best practices Required Experience & Skills • 3–5 years of ML/AI engineering experience with production model deployment • Expert Python ML skills and experience with LLMs, RAG and generative AI • Experience with MLOps, AWS SageMaker and production ML infrastructure • Strong problem-solving and airline domain curiosity • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field Preferred Experience & Skills • Experience applying LLMs, RAG and generative AI to enterprise software products, including prompt engineering and LLM fine-tuning • Knowledge of airline domain AI applications including revenue management, demand forecasting, pricing optimisation and offer personalisation — relevant to Accelya's airline customer base • Deep familiarity with AWS SageMaker, Bedrock and AI services accessible through Accelya's AWS partnership • Understanding of how AI is being applied in airline technology by providers including FLYR, Amadeus and PROS What do we offer? • An open culture with a creative and challenging opportunity to satisfy your intellectual needs • Flexible working hours • Smart working: a hybrid remote/office working environment • Work-life balance • An excellent, dynamic and multicultural environment to work in About Accelya Accelya is a leading global software provider to the airline industry, powering over 200 airlines with an open, modular software platform.
