Position Summary
The Specialist leads several projects and processes and is expected to support these projects and processes through completion, make relevant decisions, and collaborate with other team members and other functional areas as necessary. The Specialist attends to partner benefit questions and collaborates closely with our Firm benefits team. The role requires flexibility with regard to working and responsiveness outside of core business hours and working outside office hours on weekdays, weekends, and holidays may be necessary at busy times.
Duties and Accountabilities
- Assist with the facilitation of the Partner Evaluation and Compensation process, Internal New Partner Process and the Onboarding of Lateral Partners.
- Organize and flag all partner movements and ensure completion of arrival, departures and other changes (transfers, leaves, personal details, compensation, etc.) procedures.
- Manage the Contract Partner Capital applications and loan documents for new Lateral Partners.
- Analyze and produce reports for Partner Resources leadership and the Executive Committee.
- Process and lead the Registered Foreign Lawyer applications process on behalf of eligible partners.
- Perform periodic audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of records and processes.
- Work with partners in completing the requirements to open US bank accounts.
- Work with the Partner Resources leadership on the annual UK capital process.
- Maintain the partner Firm Safe Files by analyzing and processing incoming documents (repository for all executed partner agreements and legal documents).
- Process partner information, beneficiary changes and updates, and inform relevant parties of change.
- Post and audit Partner Personal documents on MyConnect.
- Support leadership on critical projects by providing analysis, coordinating work and helping deliver results on time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/College Degree in any field
- A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in Global HR administration
- Innovative, and proactive; can openly implement suggestions or improvements in current processes
- Highly customer and process focused
- Great attention to detail and possess strong organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, and can effectively interact at all levels of the organization
- Strong relationship building skills
- Ability to maintain growth mindset and a commitment to continuous professional development.
- Ability to maintain the strictest of confidences
- Ability to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, when needed
