Specialist Support Coordinator

Company Description DEC Housing Ltd is a national SDA Registered Provider. We build and purchase quality SDA Homes across Australia. We are looking to expand our team into WA and are looking for someone with extensive experience in the disability sector with strong networks across Perth and regional WA. If you have experience as a Specialist Support Coordinator or similar experience working with participants and their families, SIL Providers and Support Coordinators then we need you.

Working mainly from home, you will bring energy, passion and drive to support people with disabilities find their home for life.

Role Description The Home Solutions Advisor is a full-time, remote role, based WA, responsible for introducing DEC Housing to the WA SDA market. As the face of DEC Housing in WA you will use your networks to find appropriate SDA participants to live in our brand-new homes across WA.

Qualifications

• Experience in support coordination, case management, or community services, ideally within disability sector.
• Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, including working collaboratively with participants, families, service providers.
• Excellent organizational, documentation, and time management skills to manage multiple cases and maintain accurate records.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a clear, respectful, and accessible manner.
• Knowledge of relevant disability, housing, and community support frameworks, and an understanding of person-centered and rights-based approaches.
• Proficiency with standard office software and digital tools.
• Relevant qualification in social work, community services, disability, psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, empowerment, and dignity for all, with cultural awareness and sensitivity.
• Ability to work remotely but based in WA.
