You will also support compliance efforts by completing TrueTrace, Sustainability, and other farm-level documentation requirements, while serving as the subject matter expert (SME) for the grower base utilizing the BUSHEL App.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute annual contracting plans for specialty grain programs, including NGM Waxy, WaxiPro, and Organic Waxy.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to balance business demand, grain supply availability, and seed volume requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with growers, seed suppliers, and agricultural partners across the region.
  • Develop sourcing strategies that optimize cost, supply reliability, and risk management.
  • Monitor grain markets and industry trends to identify opportunities and mitigate potential supply risks.
  • Coordinate grain delivery schedules and storage plans to support manufacturing requirements.
  • Manage rail, barge, and container logistics as needed to support grain movement.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams on inventory reporting, grain pricing, and seed usage reporting.
  • Support and administer grain management systems, including AgTech and grower-facing platforms.
  • Develop contingency plans to address production shortfalls, changing customer demand, or supply disruptions.
  • Partner with Agronomy and Sustainability teams on research programs and sustainability initiatives.
  • Support internal and external audits, including TrueTrace and NGM compliance programs.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing and Quality teams to continuously improve grain quality and operational performance.
  • Provide commercial and operational feedback to support seed development and agronomic initiatives.
  • Participate in global agricultural forums and share best practices across Ingredion’s Specialty Grain organization.

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in agribusiness, grain procurement, grain merchandising, agricultural operations, seed production, seed sales, or a related agricultural field.
  • Knowledge of grain production, agricultural markets, grower relations, and supply chain management.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with growers, suppliers, and key agricultural stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze supply and demand dynamics and develop sourcing recommendations.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working across multiple business functions and stakeholder groups.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems.
  • Ability to travel within the region to support grower, supplier, and plant relationships.

Who You Are

  • A relationship-focused professional who enjoys working directly with growers and agricultural partners.
  • A proactive problem solver who can anticipate challenges and develop practical solutions.
  • A strong collaborator who builds partnerships across operations, agronomy, finance, quality, and commercial teams.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a remote environment and effectively manages multiple priorities.
  • Passionate about agriculture, innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
