Role Description The Sponsorship and Partnership Head of Department (HOD) is a full-time, hybrid role based in Petaling Jaya, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role leads the sponsorship and partnership function, including developing partnership strategies, identifying and securing new sponsorship opportunities, and nurturing long-term commercial relationships. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and pitching to potential partners, negotiating and closing deals, and coordinating with internal teams to design and deliver partnership assets that align with brand objectives. The HOD will oversee performance tracking and reporting, ensure contractual obligations are met, and continuously optimize partnership portfolios to support business growth.

• Candidates should possess strong analytical skills to evaluate sponsorship performance, market opportunities, and partner ROI.
• Candidates should possess proven experience in partnerships and strategic partnerships, including identifying, structuring, and managing collaborations.
• Candidates should possess excellent communication skills for stakeholder management, negotiation, presentations, and cross-functional coordination.
• Candidates should possess solid sales skills, including pipeline management, pitching, and closing sponsorship and partnership deals.
• Experience in marketing, brand communications, or media industries is highly beneficial.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams or key accounts, with the ability to mentor and guide colleagues.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site collaboration in Petaling Jaya with remote work.
