SQE (Supplier Quality Engineer)

YOUR ROLE

• Monitor supplier performance, develop and publish data reports, and present data during site reviews;
• Manage supplier performance deficiencies through measures such as Controlled Shipping and NBH;
• Evaluate supplier quality complaints, including 8D reports and problem-solving analyses;
• Support and drive supplier improvement activities for underperforming suppliers;
• Manage supplier change processes (SSCR);
• Support Cost Recovery activities between suppliers and Versigent;
• Support cross-functional teams (APQP/PDP) and act as a liaison to supplier development and supplier quality resources;
• Lead regional SPDP planning, analysis, and administrative activities;
• Optimize processes;
• Conduct supplier audits related to manufacturing and problem-solving capabilities, including independent planning, execution, and evaluation of system and process audits. Monitor and accelerate the implementation of supplier improvement plans through follow-up actions;
• Support Supplier Management in scorecard and performance activities;
• Support Supplier Management in QFS, NBH, and major disruption activities;
• Support Supplier Management in customer requirements related to suppliers;
• Represent SQ&D in relevant activities and initiatives;
• Identify and execute appropriate tools from the SPDP toolbox to address specific issues;
• Initiate, monitor, evaluate, and approve supplier products and processes in accordance with Sampling Approval requirements (PPAP, PPF);
• Plan, execute, and evaluate capacity verification activities (R@R);
• Execute special tasks, including procedure development and support for internal and external audits;
• Ensure compliance with Versigent policies and procedures.

YOUR BACKGROUND

• Technical education (Engineer/Technician or adequate background);
• Experience of min 3 years of Supplier Quality, Advance Quality or Quality Area in Automotive industry;
• Knowledge of manufacturing, quality and engineering processes;
• Knowledge of Quality and Problem Solving tools;
• Experience in Auditing of suppliers according to IATF Standards;
• Knowledge of Customer Specific requirements (including German OEMs) and Automotive Standard;
• Fluent English required;
• Knowledge of AI tools;
• Interpersonal skills to lead motivate and facilitate others in group situations and instruct others in new techniques;
• Self confident appearance in front of Supplier Management;
• Oral and written communication skills;
• Ability to prioritize work with only limited direction from Supervisor;
• Flexibility and travel readiness;
• Driving license category B;
• Experience in Claim Management;
• Experience in Auditing of suppliers according to VDA Standards would be an asset;
• Understanding the impact of Sustainability on SQE preferred;
• Knowledge regarding Market Analysis & Data Analytics preferred.
