SQL Database Administrator

TEKsystems is partnering with a client in Plano, TX to identify a tenured SQL Database Administrator who will support database modernization, security, governance, and cloud transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Administer SQL Server environments across on-premises and Azure platforms
• Manage Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instance
• Perform database performance tuning and optimization
• Implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions
• Automate administrative processes using T-SQL and PowerShell
• Support database security, governance, and compliance initiatives
• Lead cloud database migration efforts
• Mentor junior database professionals

Must-Haves

• 7+ years of DBA experience

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plano, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $73.00/hr.
