Overview The Sr. Accountant at Crocs, Inc. is a team member who will be an energetic, process driven, detailed and accurate, creative problem solver who can take the lead, but can collaborate in an international environment. This position is part of a team responsible for accounting and consolidation of Crocs entities. This includes maintenance of an accurate and timely system of accounting which includes a comprehensive set of internal controls, preparing periodic financial reports, working with auditors on the financial statements, and supporting the business by providing reliable data. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, can adopt to quick changes, willing to find root causes to a problem and proactively improve the processes. What You'll Do Execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures, inclusive of preparing and reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations, and participating in and preparing for quarter trial balance variance reviews Assist with the preparation of external audit requests with efficiency and effective communication Continuously find ways to improve departmental quality through creating efficiencies, streamlining repetitive processes, and using technology Ability to comprehend complex accounting topics and determine the appropriate treatment as required under US GAAP Work closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis, Treasury, Payroll, and Tax teams Perform ad hoc duties and analysis as needed to support corporate functions Maintain documentation in compliance with internal and external requirements ensuring adherence to SOX controls Support strategic initiatives and other key accounting and finance goals, fostering a positive accounting team and professional culture in a fast paced and evolving environment Participate in and promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development What You'll Bring to the Table Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, CPA a plus 5+ years of accounting experience, public accounting experience a plus Strong financial process experience, including financial close, reporting, internal controls, and working with independent auditors Technical knowledge of US GAAP Experience with SOX / Internal Controls Foreign currency experience at a multi-national public company Knowledge of ERP systems, SAP a plus Strong analytical skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required LI-Onsite #LI-AF1 The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to a diverse and inclusive work environment. Title: Sr. Accountant Salary or Pay Range: $87,000 - $97,000 Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
