As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the full AR cycle, managing AP payments, and preparing month-end closings and management reports. Additionally, you will assist in SOX documentation, internal audits, and ad-hoc assignments as needed.
- Prepare, maintain, and update SOX documentation to ensure compliance.
- Coordinate with internal auditors and stakeholders for accurate and timely updates.
- Oversee the Accounts Receivable (AR) cycle, monitor aging reports, and manage cash application and customer reconciliations.
- Review Accounts Payable (AP) payments to ensure timely and accurate disbursements.
- Oversee intercompany reconciliation, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Prepare month-end closings, generate financial reports, and assist in monthly forecasting and planning.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support.
- Stay updated with accounting regulations and industry best practices.
- Assist in special projects and ad-hoc assignments as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a multinational company.
- Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and internal control frameworks.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
