Job Description Snowflake Data Engineer - 4B Primary Responsibilities Data Engineering & Development Develop and maintain Snowflake data pipelines, ELT processes, and data transformation logic. Build and optimize SQL-based data models, views, stored procedures, tasks, and streams in Snowflake. Develop data ingestion frameworks using Snowpipe, external stages, and cloud storage integrations. Support development of ETL/ELT solutions using Python, Snowpark, and orchestration tools. Collaborate with business analysts and data consumers to understand reporting and analytics requirements. Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks across source and target systems. Monitor pipeline executions and troubleshoot data processing issues. Data Platform Support Support Snowflake environment administration activities including access provisioning and object management. Implement and maintain development standards, naming conventions, and coding best practices. Assist in performance tuning of SQL queries and Snowflake workloads. Participate in release deployments and production support activities. Secondary Responsibilities Maintain technical documentation, mapping documents, and operational runbooks. Assist in metadata management and data lineage documentation. Support data governance initiatives and compliance requirements. Participate in on-call support and incident resolution activities. Evaluate new Snowflake features and assist in proof-of-concept activities. Required Skills & Experience 4-7 years of Data Engineering experience. 2+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience. Strong SQL development skills. Experience with Python and Snowpark. Experience with cloud storage platforms (Azure Blob Storage, ADLS, AWS S3). Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Airflow, or similar orchestration tools. Understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehousing concepts. Knowledge of Git and DevOps practices.
