As a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer within the Next Generation Avionics (NGA) group, you will play a critical role in the design, development, integration and implementation of cutting-edge avionics solutions on the Anthem Integrated Flight Deck platform. In this role, you will work alongside a diverse team of engineers, developers and designers to create and implement forward-thinking Avionics solutions. As a flagship product, the Honeywell Anthem Flight Deck System is not just another avionics product; it is a visionary endeavor that employs cutting-edge technologies to redefine how pilots interact with flight information and aircraft systems. Responsibilities Drive the design, development, systems integration and verification of advanced avionics systems, including hardware, software, and network components Development, systems integration and verification of core Aircraft State and/or Aircraft Systems monitoring and synoptics applications to be hosted on the Anthem Next Generation Avionics Platform. Provide successful execution of complex engineering projects, ensuring they meet quality standards Perform systems engineering activities including requirements analysis, system architecture development, integration testing, and validation of avionics systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and ensure seamless integration of Avionics software solutions that meet system requirements and performance specifications. Implement and enforce security measures and compliance standards to safeguard systems and data. Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements in the Avionics space. YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics 6+ years of experience in systems engineering and project leadership, including system design, architecture, integration, implementation, and troubleshooting. Experience using engineering tools and technologies relevant to systems development. Experience with model-based system design WE VALUE Systems engineering and project leadership, including system design, architecture, integration, implementation, and troubleshooting. Experience in complex system integration projects Experience with Simulink is of value Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies with proven ability to ensure compliance with industry standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Passion for innovation and continuous learning.
