Sr. ALM DevSecOps IT Manager

This role is responsible for advancing and modernizing DevSecOps capabilities across Aero, with a specific focus on the EC instance. It combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership to drive strategic transformation, support AI initiatives, and modernize the engineering tooling ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Lead the modernization of DevSecOps practices and tooling, addressing current gaps relative to industry standards. Drive strategic AOP commitments and upcoming initiatives within the DevSecOps and tooling space. Oversee the evaluation and potential adoption of modern engineering platforms, including AI‑enabled tools and GitHub. Transition the organization from a reactive, support‑only model to a proactive, innovation‑driven approach. Develop and execute a forward‑looking roadmap to reduce backlog, improve operational efficiency, and scale capabilities. Provide end‑to‑end ownership of all non‑IBM Software Engineering tools, ensuring governance, consistency, and alignment with enterprise strategy. Partner with engineering, IT, cybersecurity, and business teams to ensure cohesive DevSecOps adoption and tool usage. Support enterprise AI and digital transformation goals through modernized workflows and platform readiness. Establish standards, best practices, and operational processes to improve quality, security, and delivery outcomes. Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization. Must Have: 12+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years in DevOps, DevSecOps, ALM, or platform operations leadership. 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, CI/CD, cloud engineering, and modern development tooling. 3+ years’ experience leading technical teams and driving cross‑functional initiatives. 3+ years’ experience with AI‑driven tooling, GitHub, or similar modern development ecosystems We Value: Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder‑management skills.
