Primary Function of Position The Sr Business System Analyst will serve as a Workday Systems Analyst/Developer, combining functional and technical expertise in Workday HCM. This role will be the primary resource for Tier 2/Tier 3 technical support, configuration, interface development, and functional enhancements. Essential Job Duties Convert business requirements into well-structured solutions that maximize the value of the Workday platform. Configure and design Workday HCM functional areas, including Core HCM, Absence, Time Tracking, Benefits, Compensation, business processes, and security. Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain integrations across the Workday platform. Build and troubleshoot custom reports, EIBs, connectors, document transforms, XSLT, calculated fields, BIRT, Workday Studio, and orchestration solutions. Analyze business processes, perform fit-gap assessments, and provide Intuitive business teams with cost-effective recommendations to address inefficiencies, mitigate risks, and guide process and system design. Develop functional specifications and collaborate with cross-functional and development teams to deliver technical solutions. Review and contribute to design documents, configuration documents, and functional specifications. Perform unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing. Support production processes and related business systems functions. Collaborate with IT and business teams to streamline business processes and improve technical solutions. Lead business user meetings to gather process details and inform effective system solutions. Partner with the development team during the build phase to ensure solutions meet business needs. Maintain business system integrity, application notes, system upgrades, changes, and user updates. Collaborate with on-site and offshore teams, managers, and executives to deliver high-quality solutions. Follow Intuitive’s change management process and assess the impact of changes across the corporate application landscape. Serve as a Senior Business Analyst by guiding and mentoring team members, conducting peer reviews, and recommending areas for improvement. #LI-Hybrid Required Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent professional experience. At least 8 years of Workday platform experience, including Business Systems Analyst or development experience in full-cycle implementations and support roles. Strong experience with Workday implementations and integrations, including ERP and third-party application integrations. Hands-on experience configuring new and existing Workday features, including user management, roles/profiles, permissions, custom objects, page layouts, custom fields, calculated fields, condition rules, validations, business processes, and notifications. Experience engaging business end users, gathering requirements, and creating detailed functional design specifications. Experience building and troubleshooting custom reports, EIBs, connectors, document transforms, XSLT, calculated fields, BIRT, Orchestration, and Workday Studio. Experience working with integration resources in a highly integrated systems environment. Preferred Workday Pro certifications in Integrations and HCM. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with others. Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment. Ability to guide and mentor team members as needed. Ability to work independently while considering cross-functional and downstream impacts with strong attention to detail.
