Sr Communications Specialist

This role will execute video production, editing, motion design and supporting graphic design requests from communicators across the function, prioritized through the COE's intake process and charter. The Sr. Communications Specialist must balance hands-on execution with strategic video counsel, developing scalable video frameworks and coaching communicators to elevate the quality of visual storytelling across the organization. The ideal candidate will be a confident, independent communications professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in video production, motion design and visual communications. A corporate or agency background is a plus, especially with a proven track record of driving video content and visual communications success. This individual should have outstanding video production and editing skills, a keen interest in understanding the business, a strong orientation toward process and organization, and the ability to influence partners and clients in a highly matrixed corporate environment. Mastery of video editing software, motion design tools and the Adobe Creative Suite is required. This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office and 2 days work from home model. Own end-to-end video production for enterprise initiatives, executive communications and high-visibility campaigns, from concept development through filming, editing and final delivery. Create compelling video content that brings enterprise narratives to life, including employee stories, leadership messages, campaign videos and brand content. Develop motion graphics, animated explainers and kinetic typography that enhance storytelling and drive engagement across varied audiences. Support enterprise-wide communications including our weekly newsletter and company-wide content, as well as external communications including brand campaigns, customer-facing videos and thought leadership content. Flex into graphic design and visual communications support when video workload allows, creating infographics, presentations and digital content. Collaborate closely with the Designer on cross-channel visual storytelling to ensure brand consistency across all visual communications. Support major initiatives, organization transitions, leadership changes and other transformation steps through innovative video communications that address the needs of varied audiences and stakeholders. Raise the bar on the quality of communications by guiding video strategies that result in elegantly simple, visually compelling and easily understandable video content. Serve as subject matter expert on video production, motion design and multimedia storytelling across all COE communications outputs. Focus on executing the details around communications excellence, including video content development and production delivery. Build reusable video templates, motion graphics libraries and toolkits that empower communicators to create quality video content efficiently. Support cross-company measurement of video content effectiveness and drive continuous improvement. Oversee and contribute to video planning and development in support of Honeywell's strategic initiatives. Coach communicators on effective video storytelling techniques, production best practices and emerging video trends. Key skills and qualifications Bachelor's degree Minimum 5+ years of demonstrated successful experience in video production, motion design and visual communications, especially in a corporate or agency environment Strong English skills The ability to drive quality and creative communications, working independently and as part of a team. Excellent video storytelling and production skills, with ability to conceptualize, shoot, edit and deliver compelling video content across diverse formats and audiences. Strong portfolio demonstrating range across video formats including short-form social content, long-form narratives, motion graphics, animated explainers and live-action production. Mastery of video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and motion design tools (After Effects, Cinema 4D). Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) for supporting graphic design work.
