Sr. Consultant, Facilities Center of Excellence (CoE)

Summary:

In this role, you will contribute to the implementation, advancement, and integration of Vizient’s Facilities Center of Excellence (CoE). You will lead analyses and client engagements to uncover strategic insights, identify performance improvement opportunities, and deliver measurable financial outcomes for healthcare clients. You will build relationships with senior client leaders, manage complex projects, and support the continued growth and development of the Facilities CoE.

Responsibilities:

• Support P&L growth and strategic initiatives for the Facilities Center of Excellence.
• Plan and manage multiple client projects and initiatives, including serving as project lead as needed.
• Communicate recommendations, business cases, and strategic insights to senior executives to support decision-making and organizational change.
• Establish and maintain relationships with client leaders, including C-suite, supply chain, facilities, and construction stakeholders.
• Develop and execute project work plans, provide client status updates, and identify, track, and validate savings achieved through program engagement.
• Manage initiatives that enhance client utilization of the contract portfolio and develop tools that support facilities project managers and end users.
• Coordinate activities across client supply chain, facilities, construction teams, and third-party contractors.
• Cultivate vendor relationships, communicate strategic objectives, and negotiate pricing and value-added opportunities that deliver client savings.
• Contribute to practice development through thought leadership, conferences, speaking engagements, and development of new facilities products and services.
• Maintain high billability and client satisfaction while identifying opportunities for follow-on work.

Qualifications:

• Relevant degree preferred.
• 5 or more years of relevant experience required.
• Consulting or analytical experience within the healthcare industry, including an understanding of clinical and non-clinical operations and processes.
• Experience in architecture, engineering, construction, estimating, medical equipment procurement, or logistics required.
• Knowledge of healthcare supply chain procurement practices and technology preferred.
• Proficiency in reading construction drawings and specifications preferred.
• Proficiency in project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with senior and executive-level client leaders.
• Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.
