YOUR IMPACT A Senior Director, Professional Services role at OpenText is an opportunity to lead the strategy, delivery, and growth of mission-critical financial solutions, including Payment Hub, Order & Trade Management, Commercial Finance, and SWIFT Service Bureau offerings. In this leadership role, you will drive customer success, support business growth, and lead high-performing teams delivering innovative solutions that help financial institutions modernize and transform their operations. You will work closely with Digital Solutions teams to ensure solution designs align with operational capabilities and standards, while serving as a trusted advisor to customers to meet their evolving technology and service needs. Additionally, you will support strategic sales initiatives, oversee successful Financial Hub implementations, and drive the delivery of key business objectives. WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS • Serve as the primary escalation point and executive contact for all matters related to the OpenText Financial Hub platform. • Lead the strategy, development, and continuous evolution of Financial Hub and related financial services solutions. • Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert across Payment Hub, Order & Trade Management, Commercial Finance, SWIFT Service Bureau, and other financial solutions. • Partner with existing and prospective clients to understand business needs, provide strategic guidance, and drive successful outcomes. • Prioritize competing business demands, balancing customer commitments, operational objectives, and strategic initiatives. • Communicate effectively across teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment, transparency, and expectation management. • Provide expertise in infrastructure, information security, disaster recovery, business continuity, and service management to support complex solution designs. • Guide project and delivery teams to ensure customer commitments are met and implementations are delivered successfully. • Provide leadership for product enhancements, platform modernization, security improvements, resilience initiatives, and new go-to-market offerings. • Support sales activities by contributing technical expertise, solution strategy, and customer engagement to help win new business. AI Strategy & Innovation • Define and execute the AI vision, roadmap, and governance framework across the organization. • Identify and evaluate emerging AI, Generative AI, machine learning, and automation technologies. • Drive adoption of AI-powered solutions to improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and business performance. • Establish AI use cases, success metrics, and value realization frameworks. • Ensure responsible AI practices, including security, compliance, governance, transparency, and ethical use. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 10+ years of experience in a technology organization, with progressive leadership responsibility. • Strong expertise in financial services technology, including payments, treasury solutions, order management, and trade/post-trade processing across equities, fixed income, and funds. • Working knowledge of FIX, SWIFT MT, ISO 15022, and ISO 20022 messaging standards. • Solid understanding of application architecture, system engineering fundamentals, infrastructure, and enterprise technology environments. • Proven experience leading high-performing technical teams and managing client-facing implementations and strategic customer relationships. • Demonstrated ability to assess complex business and technical challenges, make sound decisions, and drive successful outcomes. • Deep understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile delivery methodologies, and project/program leadership. • Familiarity with ITIL practices and service management principles. • Strong leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive issues to resolution. • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills, with experience working across executive, business, and technical audiences. • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technology concepts to customers, executives, and technical teams. • Experience with full-stack Java development, including Spring, Hibernate, web services, and service-oriented architectures. Salary Range: $203,300 - $304,900 USD per annum; Depending on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted. California Residents: The pay range above is a reasonable estimate of salary based on pay scale, candidate experience, skills, and education. In addition to the comprehensive benefits noted above, the role may be eligible for bonus or commissions.
