Overview We're seeking an accomplished PBM and managed care leader with a bachelor's degree, 10+ years of experience supporting managed care clients, and 5+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing teams. The Sr. Director, Account Services leads strategy, overall service performance, and account service teams for existing PBM clients. The position is responsible for the co-development of long-term account strategy for the Key Account’s clients. This position communicates across multiple organizational levels including internal/external and leads Client Services teams/projects. Working with subject matter experts, the Sr. Director is responsible for developing and executing an annual Strategic Business Plan with account teams and clients. The position is responsible for supporting client retention, achieving corporate strategic goals relative to client base and overall customer satisfaction, including removing obstacles/solving customer issues in a timely manner. This includes mentoring, providing guidance, training, performance reviews, and other such managerial tasks. This position also provides support to the team through participation in key strategic Client Consultative Reviews and Strategic Business Plan meetings and other client meetings as required. In addition, the Sr. Director strengthens organizational capability and operational effectiveness through process modernization, implementation of centralized resources, cross-training initiatives, and the adoption of technology-enabled, data-driven decision making. Provide leadership and oversight for Account Executives and Account Management strategy and tactical execution, ensuring consistent service delivery, and driving performance across account management teams supporting the Key Accounts book of business. This includes accountability for operational effectiveness, scalability, and alignment with company objectives. Communicate effectively with Senior Team at Navitus and C-Suite level externally; provide executive summary of performance to the Executive Team at least quarterly. Attend key Management Committee meetings. Oversee the creation and presentation of Strategic Business Plans, Consultative QBRs, and Performance Standard reports to Navitus clients. Provide support and guidance to staff relative to Performance Guarantees and best practices. Manage Clients at a strategic level, including Senior-level Client Management teams. Build sustainable operational capability by modernizing processes, establishing centralized documentation and standards, promoting cross-training, and reinforcing governance practices (decision-making, accountability, and escalation frameworks). Champion data-driven decision-making and technology adoption to improve efficiency and consistency across Account Management Operations. Involvement in related cross-functional matrix teams/committees. Lead internal department and corporate projects. Responsible for measuring, monitoring, and reporting a variety of key performance indicators for internal and external stakeholders; and for reporting client services metrics. Responsible for team members’ performance specific to client, individual team members, and key office personnel. Create and develop strategic direction for the Client / Clinical Services team. Provide on-going formal training to team members. Promote and oversee intentional cross-training strategies within and across departments to reduce single points of failure, strengthen bench strength, and improve service continuity for complex consultant/broker portfolios. Provide expert input to hiring process and on-boarding process for team members. Travel to Client sites as required. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications What our team expects from you? Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required. 10+ years of progressive experience interfacing directly with Managed Care clients required. 5+ years of progressive leadership experience, which may include leading individual contributors or teams, or equivalent leadership experience such as coaching, mentoring, or leading complex initiatives or projects, required. Knowledge of internal operations, as well as an knowledge of the clients’ benefit management philosophy, goals, and objectives required. Understanding of the PBM industry and the Navitus advantage as compared with its competitors required. Knowledge of formulary managed care systems, principles, and practices (e.g., DUR, and prior authorization) required. Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
