The role We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team on a contract basis from July 2026 to March 2027. As a Senior Finance Executive within our General Ledger function, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our accounting operations for the Singapore entity. Beyond managing day-to-day GL activities, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and support the development of the broader regional finance team. Main responsibilities : Own the end-to-end monthly close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and timely preparation of financial statements for both local statutory and group reporting purposes Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management reports in compliance with local regulatory requirements and group reporting standards Support statutory compliance, including liaison with external auditors, tax agents, and relevant regulatory bodies Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of accounting operations Collaborate closely with business stakeholders across functions and regions to resolve accounting queries and ensure alignment on financial matters Take on ad-hoc projects and responsibilities as required by the business Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional qualification (CPA, CA, or ACCA) is preferred At least 3–4 years of relevant experience in a GL or general accounting role, ideally within a regional or multinational environment Solid understanding of accounting standards (SFRS/IFRS) Meticulous, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to propose practical, scalable solutions Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines without compromising accuracy Effective communicator with the confidence to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels A collaborative team player who takes ownership and demonstrates initiative Proficiency in ERP systems is an advantage You Should Have An ability to think and work strategically and systemically - continuously prioritizing key deliverables Good problem-solving skills Strong multitasking and execution abilities Strong communication skills across the GL team and cross-functional teams. Strong teamplayer with ability to inhibit positive influence on juniors and peers.
