Requirements

Tech Stack

  • Backend: Node.js, REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect

  • Frontend: React / Next.js

  • Languages: TypeScript, JavaScript

  • Infrastructure: Docker, GitLab CI/CD

  • API Documentation: OpenAPI / Swagger

  • Authentication: JWT, OAuth 2.0, AD/SSO

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.

  • Build, document, and maintain RESTful APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger.

  • Develop reusable and accessible React/Next.js components in collaboration with frontend teams.

  • Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.

  • Follow best practices for code quality, testing, security, performance, and monitoring.

  • Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.

  • Work with databases and apply core DBMS concepts.

  • Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, debugging, and performance improvements.

  • Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and cross-functional teams for end-to-end delivery.

  • Mentor junior developers and promote coding best practices.

  • Stay updated with cloud-native, serverless, and DevOps technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2.5+ years of hands-on development experience, preferably in full-stack/backend development.

  • Strong understanding of Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, React/Next.js.

  • Experience with REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, Git, and version control.

  • Understanding of unit/integration testing using Jest, Vitest, or similar frameworks.

  • Good understanding of DBMS, API security, and authentication/authorization.

  • Comfortable working in Agile environments with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have

  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, cloud-native, and serverless architectures.

  • Exposure to additional programming languages/frameworks.
