TransUnion's Job Applicant Privacy Notice Team Overview The Digital Business Profile team is responsible for maintaining and enhancing TransUnion's business identity and listings solutions, helping ensure accurate, trusted, and actionable business information across digital ecosystems. This platform originated from Neustar's Tru-Contact and Communication Solutions portfolio and supports business data products that enable customers to make informed decisions. The team partners closely with Product, QA, Operations, and Engineering functions across Costa Rica and the U.S. West Coast to deliver innovative, scalable solutions. This role reports directly to the Sr. Manager, Software Development. This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management. Role Overview And Core Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain full-stack software solutions that support TransUnion's Digital Business Profile products and business data platforms. Partner with Product teams to understand, refine, and negotiate functional requirements, translating business needs into scalable technical solutions. Lead the design and delivery of medium to large-scale features throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from concept through production deployment. Develop high-quality software using C#, .NET technologies, Angular, APIs, and cloud platforms while adhering to established engineering standards and best practices. Collaborate within an Agile Scrum environment, actively participating in sprint planning, design reviews, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. Provide technical leadership on projects by guiding design decisions, mentoring team members, and driving implementation strategies across cross-functional teams. Work closely with QA teams to support testing efforts and create technical documentation required for successful product validation and release. Support production systems by troubleshooting complex technical issues and partnering with Operations and Customer Delivery teams to ensure platform stability and performance. Participate in an on-call rotation approximately one week per month to support critical production incidents and maintain service reliability. Build strong partnerships with globally distributed teams and communicate effectively with developers, architects , and product managers. Required Knowledge And Experiences 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development, including designing and delivering enterprise-grade web applications , back-end services, Apis from concept through deployment. Experience with being hands-on for design and development and independently translating business needs into scalable software solutions. Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, debugging practices, and modern software development lifecycle methodologies. Experience working in Agile development environments and collaborating effectively with team through iterative product delivery. Bachelor’s degree in computer science , Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. This role is a 100% hands-on role and requires leadership through technical skill, solving problems and mentorship to junior team members. Required Technical Skills Advanced experience with Microsoft .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, Entity Framework, Web API, MVC, and Web Forms. Experience working with huge datasets and data driven architecture. Experience designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs in enterprise environments. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (Amazon Web Services) and/or GCP (Google Cloud Platform), supporting modernization initiatives and scalable application architectures. Strong proficiency with Visual Studio and Windows-based development environments, including source control and collaborative development practices. We’re also looking for the preferred skills below.
