A Sr. Manager, Program/Project Management is responsible for leading the execution of strategic programs and complex product initiatives, while developing and coaching a team of program managers. This role drives delivery against key KPIs, with a strong focus on cross-functional leadership, operational excellence, and customer-centric outcomes.

This position will serve Rheem North America, located in Roswell, GA, Indianapolis, IN, or Fort Smith, AR. This role follows our hybrid work arrangement, with team members working in the office Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays.

  • Lead execution of program management strategies aligned with corporate objectives and market needs, ensuring efficient delivery of key initiatives.

  • Champion and drive programs through the Navigator process to manufacturing acceptance and full production.

  • Manage and mentor a team of program managers, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Support talent development, succession planning, and engagement initiatives within the team.

  • Own and execute multi-year product roadmaps across assigned categories, ensuring alignment to business priorities.

  • Partner with Product Management to translate product strategies into executable program plans.

  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and functional leaders to align investments with business and financial objectives.

  • Lead cross-functional program teams to deliver results that meet customer, business, and manufacturing requirements.

  • Drive program performance by tracking KPIs, proactively identifying risks, and implementing mitigation plans.

  • Provide clear, concise updates to leadership and facilitate structured post-launch reviews to drive continuous improvement.

  • Optimize resources across programs by partnering with functional leaders to remove bottlenecks and maintain delivery timelines.

  • Apply strong communication and influencing skills to align stakeholders and maintain momentum toward program goals.

  • Guide teams through problem-solving efforts across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and purchasing.

  • Ensure manufacturing readiness through validation of processes, equipment, and production capabilities.

  • Lead plant-related program execution to ensure launches meet timing, cost, and quality expectations.

  • Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities to enhance speed to market and program efficiency.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in product development, program, or project management.

  • 3+ years of experience leading or influencing teams in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

  • Strong knowledge of product development stage-gate processes (design, pricing, manufacturing, sourcing).

  • Proven ability to drive execution, manage schedules, and deliver against cost, quality, and timing targets.

  • Experience translating product strategies into actionable program plans.

  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, including cost tracking and ROI evaluation.

  • Experience working within matrixed organizations and influencing without direct authority.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to translate complex issues into clear, actionable insights for leadership.
