ASRC Federal Advanced Research LLC is is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Primavera P6 Scheduler to join our Decennial Schedule Support (DSS) team supporting the U.S. Census Bureau. The Senior Scheduler leads development, optimization, baselining, and maintenance of complex project schedules contributing to the 2030 Census IMS. This role interacts with project managers, division leaders, and federal staff to ensure schedules incorporate WBS standards, resource loading, interdependencies, and change control.
Location: Hybrid — Remote with required on-site days in Suitland, MD
Citizenship: U.S. Citizen required
Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain Census Bureau suitability/background clearance
Key Responsibilities
- Build, optimize, baseline, and maintain complex Primavera P6 schedules aligned to program WBS.
- Analyze schedules for critical path, risk, resource needs, discrepancies, and performance metrics.
- Support weekly IMS status meetings, dashboard updates, and reporting.
- Create and assess schedule change requests following Decennial Change Management Plan.
- Identify activities not meeting GAO criteria and provide corrective actions.
- Produce documentation, procedures, schedule reports, and responses to executive inquiries.
- Support extraction of project data, dashboard creation, and schedule analytics.
- Assist with testing of schedule system tools and enhancements.
- Provide guidance to junior schedulers and contribute to schedule process documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of experience developing complex Primavera schedules aligned with GAO best practices.
- Ability to analyze interdependencies across operations and systems.
- Strong experience writing process documentation and procedures.
- Experience delivering weekly schedule reporting and responding to management inquiries.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
