  • Monitor forecast accuracy and bias, explain customer and financial implications, and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Build scenario models using historical trends, promotional lift, distribution, velocity, inventory and customer inputs to support demand and shipment decisions.
  • Lead weekly, monthly, quarterly and event-based reporting, highlighting performance, risks, opportunities, decisions, owners and follow-through actions.
  • Use Walmart Scintilla, Retail Link, Item 360, Nielsen, Circana/IRI, Spectra and other available sources to identify customer, category and brand growth opportunities.
  • Create concise selling stories and customer-ready recommendations for line reviews, business reviews, joint planning and recurring Walmart meetings.
  • Measure promotional lift and return on investment, complete post-event analyses and recommend shifts that improve growth and return.
  • Maintain customer commitments, trade-spend visibility, planning inputs, item setup and item maintenance with accurate documentation and controls.
  • Partner across Sales, Category Management, Finance, Revenue Growth Management, Demand Planning, Supply Chain and Marketing to move recommendations through execution.
  • Build repeatable reports, tools and routines that improve the Walmart Pet team’s planning and analytical capabilities.

Why You’ll Love This Role

  • Build expertise across the pet category while working with a complex, high-impact retail customer.
  • Combine forecasting, category insights, trade analytics and customer storytelling in one broad commercial role.
  • Help shape repeatable reporting and planning processes, with room to take on more responsibility as you demonstrate impact.
  • Join a collaborative environment that offers big company opportunity with a small company attitude.

Location & Travel Requirements

  • Hybrid schedule with three days per week in the Bentonville office.
  • Travel up to 20% for customer meetings, store or field visits and cross-functional engagements.
  • Salaried, exempt schedule aligned with customer and internal business needs.
