About the Opportunity:

We’re looking for a Senior Sales Manager who brings revenue operations and sales leadership together. A high volume of orders comes through our platform every day, and within that volume is our next stage of growth: accounts ready to grow, and accounts that need attention before they go quiet. You’ll find them, decide where our team should focus, and make sure the team acts.

You’ll own HubSpot, our revenue reporting, our data definitions and our account scoring model. Our CRM, reporting and definitions are still maturing, so you’ll shape how they’re built. You’ll use what you find to set clear weekly priorities for our nine Account Managers and hold the team to them.

You’ll report to the Sales Director, with the autonomy to lead how the team operates day to day, within the wider commercial strategy. You’ll have the data, the ownership and the team to do it, at a business where demand is already strong. You’ll be based in our London office four days a week, with occasional travel to customers, suppliers and industry events.

Main responsibilities:

Own the Data and Direction

  • Own HubSpot, our reporting and data definitions, so the whole team works from numbers it can trust

  • Own our account scoring model: understand it, challenge it, and keep improving it

  • Get into the data yourself, in SQL, to find where our accounts can grow and what to do about it

  • Go beyond reporting: spot opportunity and weak activity, and tell the team what to do differently

  • Turn what you find into clear weekly priorities for each Account Manager

Team Leadership and Accountability

  • Own weekly 1:1s, turning every discussion into clear actions, then follow up until they are done

  • Hold Account Managers accountable for their commitments, pipeline, account plans and results

  • Spot early signs of underperformance and manage performance firmly, including talent decisions where required

  • Build a team culture based on ownership, consistency and follow-through, with a visible presence in the office

  • Recruit, onboard and ramp new team members as the team grows, and develop the stronger Account Managers

Coaching and Account Growth

  • Get into the detail of individual accounts with each Account Manager: who they are speaking to and what they have uncovered

  • Push the team to think about account growth every week, not just deal by deal

  • Keep live, credible growth plans for Tier 1 and priority accounts

  • Coach live deals continuously and help move stalled opportunities forward

Own the Results

  • Own delivery of the team’s bookings, account-growth and pipeline targets

  • Improve conversion from quote to order across the team

  • Provide an accurate weekly forecast, with clear risks and recovery actions

  • Turn the wider commercial strategy into consistent day-to-day execution across the team

  • Maintain strong CRM discipline and clean, reliable pipeline data

Skills and Experience

  • A revenue operations background: several years of hands-on work in the function, backed by real experience leading salespeople

  • Has directly led salespeople or account managers in a fast-paced, high-volume B2B environment

  • Hands-on ownership of a CRM such as HubSpot, including reporting and data definitions

  • Strong SQL: you build reporting and analysis from the underlying data, not only from CRM dashboards

  • Experience building or running an account scoring, segmentation, or prioritisation approach

  • Evidence that your analysis has changed what a team actually did

  • The presence and judgement to hold experienced salespeople accountable

  • Experience building a process yourself, rather than stepping into one that already existed

  • Manufacturing or technical sales background is a bonus, not a requirement

Benefits:
  • Competitive Salary: We offer pay that reflects your skills and the value you bring.

  • Stocked Kitchen: Enjoy snacks, fresh fruit, and drinks all day.

  • 23 Days Annual Leave: Recharge with 23 days off, plus bank holidays.

  • Birthday Off: Take an extra day to celebrate your birthday.

  • Pet-Friendly Office: Bring your dog to our pet-friendly workspace.

  • Team Events: Connect with colleagues through monthly team-building activities.

  • Career Growth: Benefit from our focus on internal promotions and development.

  • Cycle to Work Scheme: Save on commuting, reduce emissions, and stay active.
