We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially driven Senior Sales Representative, Propulsion Systems to lead strategic sales initiatives, strengthen customer relationships, and support long-term business growth. This role is ideal for a polished sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, technically focused environment and enjoys balancing customer engagement with operational excellence. As a senior member of the commercial team, you will support the full sales lifecycle—from prospecting and opportunity development to quoting, negotiations, reporting, and closeout—while partnering closely with operations, service, finance, marketing, and executive leadership. The ideal candidate brings strong business acumen, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage complex sales opportunities with professionalism and precision. Position Details Work Location: Remote, but must reside in Washington, Oregon or California Compensation: $125,000 annual base salary + commission Additional Compensation: Forgivable draw provided during the first year Travel Requirements: Up to 50% travel What You’ll Do Sales Operations & Commercial Execution Lead and manage complex sales opportunities from initial engagement through contract closeout Prepare and maintain proposals, quotations, contracts, CRM records, and customer documentation Develop pipeline summaries, forecast reports, revenue updates, and sales performance dashboards Ensure all sales records and documentation are accurate, current, and aligned with internal processes Support pricing activities, customer deliverables, and sales tracking across multiple concurrent opportunities Customer & Stakeholder Engagement Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, product guidance, and sales support Build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive communication and solution-oriented support Coordinate with operations, service, finance, marketing, and executive teams to align customer expectations with operational capabilities Address and resolve issues involving pricing, scheduling, scope changes, and workflow challenges Strategic & Cross-Functional Leadership Participate in leadership meetings, sales reviews, and strategic planning initiatives Coordinate sales activities, schedules, resources, and communication across departments Provide commercial insights and recommendations to support organizational decision-making and revenue growth Contribute to process improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, customer experience, and operational consistency Compliance & Process Optimization Support audit preparation activities and maintain compliance with internal controls and sales governance standards Ensure adherence to confidentiality requirements, contractual obligations, and company policies Leverage CRM systems, ERP platforms, and workflow tools to improve visibility and streamline sales operations Assist with system enhancements, integrations, and development of standardized sales practices and documentation What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Communications, or a related field 7–10+ years of experience in sales, account management, business development, or related leadership roles Previous experience selling propulsion systems Proven ability to manage complex, multi-phase customer opportunities and high-value accounts Strong understanding of sales operations, customer engagement strategies, and commercial execution Experience using CRM systems, ERP platforms, and sales reporting tools Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in a related field Experience in propulsion systems, industrial equipment, marine, power generation, or other technical industries Sales certifications such as CPSP, SPIN Selling, Challenger Sales, or similar Experience supporting strategic sales initiatives across cross-functional teams Core Competencies Customer-focused relationship management Strategic thinking and commercial problem solving Cross-functional collaboration and leadership Strong documentation and organizational discipline Professionalism, integrity, and sound business judgment Adaptability in dynamic and evolving business environments Work Environment & Expectations Ability to work in an office, customer site, or hybrid environment as needed Ability to lead customer meetings and presentations Flexibility to support periods of increased workload during major sales cycles, audits, or organizational initiatives Why Join Us?
