PlatformWise Solutions is an engineering services company based in Thane, Maharashtra. We provide BIM and detailing support to clients in Australia and other markets, and we're expanding our steel detailing team.

About the role

We're looking for an experienced Steel Detailer who works in Tekla Structures or Autodesk Advanced Steel to join us full-time, working from home. You'll produce shop and fabrication drawings for Australian steel roofs and structures, working to our client's requirements and revision cycles. This is detailing work only. There is no structural design or engineering calculation involved.

What you'll do

• Build and detail steel models in Tekla Structures or Advanced Steel from the design information and drawings supplied by the client
• Produce GA, assembly and single-part drawings, and generate IFC/DWG exports
• Create model reports (assembly, part, material and bolt lists)
• Work on Australian steel projects using sections such as PFC, UB, SHS and cold-formed C purlins, plus plates, bolts and anchor rods
• Handle revisions and client markups (Rev A, B, C and so on) through the issue-for-approval process
• Check your own work for clashes, numbering and drawing quality before it goes out

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of hands-on structural steel detailing in Tekla Structures or Autodesk Advanced Steel
• Strong command of drawing production: GA, assembly and single-part drawings
• Comfort with revision cycles and responding to client comments
• Good attention to detail and a habit of checking your own output
• Reliable internet and a quiet work-from-home setup
• Willingness to work Australian business hours

Nice to have

• Experience with Australian standards (AS 4100, AS/NZS steel sections and grades)
• Experience with cold-formed purlins and roof or awning steelwork
• Experience in both Tekla and Advanced Steel, or as a checker or team lead
