Sundyne, a Honeywell company headquartered in Arvada, CO, is a leading provider of highly engineered pumps and compressors serving critical process industries. Sundyne solutions support customers across refining, petrochemical, chemical, hydrogen, carbon capture, and other demanding applications.
The Sr. Technical Sales Engineer mechanical equipment and will be a key contributor to Sundyne’s growth by helping customers adopt Sundyne’s broad equipment portfolio. This role combines comprehensive deep technical knowledge, commercial acumen, and customer engagement skills to develop value propositions that address customer needs and support profitable business growth.
This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple technologies while developing deeper expertise in rotating equipment applications. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative global team focused on customer value, technical excellence, and business growth.
- Provide technical sales support in customer discussions, aligning Sundyne equipment solutions with customer needs, applications, and business objectives.
- Apply product knowledge of API centrifugal pumps, API centrifugal compressors, and diaphragm compressors to position fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Develop and promote targeted value propositions that clearly communicate technical differentiators, customer benefits, and competitive advantages.
- Collect and share customer, market, and competitor intelligence with business development, product line, project development, and offering teams.
- Support new product and solution launches by identifying target customers, developing opportunity-specific business cases, preparing sales strategies, and delivering technical presentations.
- Partner with sales, product line, engineering, technical services, legal, marketing, and other internal stakeholders to support customer opportunities and drive profitable growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams to support long-term business development.
- Support cross-Honeywell synergy initiatives and complete assigned actions that advance strategic growth opportunities.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 6 or more years of experience in sales, technical sales, technical service, engineering, or equivalent industry process operations.
- 6 or more years of experience with hydroprocessing, renewables, rotating equipment, or related process industry applications preferred.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, presentation, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic business environment.
The annual base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $181,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
