【Recruitment Background】

The company operates Japan's No. 1 electronic signature service, with over 2.5 million participating companies. Currently, market expectations are exceptionally high, driven by the expansion of enterprise-level features and support for the digitalization of government administration.

As the platform grows into an essential infrastructure for clients' daily operations, improving site reliability and optimizing the development process have become urgent priorities. To further accelerate product development in line with the rapid expansion of the business and organization, the company is continuously strengthening its dedicated SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) team for "CloudSign."

In this role, you will lead service growth by leveraging your SRE expertise to drive process improvements and reliability. Beyond technical contributions, the company is specifically seeking an individual who can lead future team management and organizational operations.

【Responsibilities】

Responsibilities

As a member of the SRE team for the company’s electronic signature service, you will lead the creation of systems to improve operational efficiency and site reliability from both the application and infrastructure perspectives.

While the specific focus of your duties can be adjusted flexibly based on your experience and aspirations, you are expected to approach your work with a view toward future management or team leadership roles.

■The SRE team contributes to the improvement of site reliability (SLO/SLI) and developer productivity through the following activities:

■ Team Leadership & Management (Based on Aspirations)

1. Strategic Planning: Participating in the formulation of the SRE team's strategy and long-term roadmap.

2. Mentorship: Supporting the technical growth and goal-setting of team members.

3. Organizational Design: Creating frameworks and systems to foster an autonomous and high-performing team environment.

■ Core SRE Responsibilities

1. Cloud Infrastructure Optimization: Enhancing the reliability of AWS-based applications and implementing operational improvements through tooling, FaaS integration, and architectural reviews.

2. Development Process & Platform Improvement: Promoting Infrastructure as Code (IaC) via Terraform, strengthening observability (Datadog APM/monitoring), and designing/implementing faster, safer CI/CD pipelines and deployment methods.

3. Reliability Advocacy: Assisting development teams with the definition and visualization of SLOs/SLIs, managing alert responses, and leading systematic post-incident improvement activities.

【Required】

Practical experience as an SRE (no minimum years required) or 3+ years of practical experience in building, automating, and operating (maintaining/improving) web service infrastructure

Experience designing, building, and operating infrastructure in cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)

Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and practical experience using tools like Terraform

Experience developing tools and automation using programming languages (Golang, Python, etc.)

Ownership mindset to think and act independently, regardless of role or position, and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with other teams

【Preferred】

Experience in building and operating container platforms (ECS, EKS, Kubernetes, etc.)

Experience designing and operating non-functional requirements for SaaS or multi-tenant services (e.g., performance tuning for large-scale users, security measures)

Experience defining and operating metrics (SLO/SLI) to improve reliability in product development and operations

Knowledge of Platform Engineering

Experience as a team leader or driving projects (any scale)

Motivation to contribute to technical communications and recruitment activities

Practical experience as an application development engineer
