In this role, you'll contribute to month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, expense management, and process improvement initiatives while working alongside experienced accounting professionals who are committed to mentorship and professional development. What You'll Do Own Critical Accounting Activities Support the monthly close process by preparing and recording journal entries for prepaid expenses, accruals, and other general ledger transactions. Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances to ensure accurate financial reporting. Perform bank, credit card, and other key account reconciliations. Maintain detailed schedules and supporting documentation for accounting transactions and reconciliations. Drive Accuracy & Financial Integrity Review and analyze expense activity to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Prepare and review allocation entries related to shared costs, contractor expenses, and consulting services. Interpret financial statements and supporting data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. Assist with revenue-related accounting activities and support compliance with applicable accounting guidance. Support Business Operations Assist with accounts receivable activities, including payment application, transaction review, and account analysis. Serve as a backup for accounts payable and lease accounting functions. Act as a primary resource for employee expense reporting questions and reimbursement processes. Support expense management systems and help ensure a seamless user experience. Improve Processes & Partner Across Teams Collaborate with accounting and finance team members to strengthen controls and improve operational efficiency. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on accounting processes, reporting, and automation. Help maintain compliance with corporate travel and expense policies. Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives as the company continues to grow. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 2+ years of progressive accounting experience. Experience supporting month-end close activities, journal entries, and general ledger accounting. Strong background in account reconciliations, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations. Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Technical Skills Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and data analysis functions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Outlook. Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting platforms. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365. Exposure to ASC 606 revenue recognition concepts. Experience working in a high-growth or rapidly evolving business environment. Work Environment After an initial onsite training period, this position transitions to a hybrid schedule of three days in-office and two days remote each week . Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.80 - $37.31/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
