Independently perform assigned payroll preparation and processing, including US and Canadian payroll accounting entries and reconciliations. Support ARR rollforwards, investigate changes, and progress toward ownership of assigned reporting components. Maintain organized supporting documentation and contribute to audit and information requests, including payroll and benefit-related audit support. Use company-approved automation and AI tools, with appropriate review, to document procedures and improve accounting workflows. Participate in cross-training and contribute to accounting projects, system updates, and process improvements. Competencies – Key Skills & Experience We're Looking For General Accounting & Month-End Close Hands-on experience preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and prepaids within established close deadlines. Comfortable supporting monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, and providing backup for routine cash, accounts payable, and accounts receivable activities as needed. Payroll & Compliance Support Willingness to learn company payroll procedures, including employee changes, deductions, reimbursements, and US and Canadian payroll accounting entries, subject to management review. Able to maintain confidentiality while addressing employee payroll questions and reconciling related general ledger accounts.
