Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Staff Ruby Engineer to work on a contract basis. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable Ruby-based systems. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Ruby on Rails applications and microservices.

• Optimize application performance and scalability.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define technical requirements.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested Ruby code.

• Debug and resolve complex technical issues in production systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails.

• Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON-based services.

• Strong knowledge of database design and SQL optimization.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks like RSpec or Minitest.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or similar.
