Staff Product Engineer & Technical Lead

🚀 We’re Hiring: Staff Product Engineer & Technical Lead

We’re looking for a Staff Product Engineer & Technical Lead to take ownership of a live consumer-financing platform and lead the technical delivery of its next stage of growth.

💡 What you’ll do:

• Own the delivery of the product roadmap from post-launch hardening through legacy platform retirement.
• Lead technical projects and guide other developers through scoping, reviews, and execution.
• Design and own architecture across backend, services, data, and deployments.
• Work closely with business and operations teams to become an expert in the consumer-financing domain.
• Build hands-on while leveraging and governing AI coding agents.
• Partner with the CTO on architecture and upcoming AI-driven product initiatives.
• Support and operate cloud infrastructure and participate in incident resolution.

🎯 What we’re looking for:

• Several years of production backend or full-stack engineering experience.
• Strong experience designing systems and taking them from architecture to production.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects and deliver through other engineers.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, architecture, testing, and production debugging.
• English fluency.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding agents to deliver meaningful production work.
• Strong ownership mindset and interest in deeply understanding the business domain.

⭐ Strong pluses:

• Experience building AI agent tooling, MCP servers, agent pipelines, or evaluation frameworks.
• Fintech, lending, or other regulated-industry experience.
• Experience with Temporal or event-driven architectures.
• Infrastructure-as-Code experience, especially Pulumi.

🤖 AI-native engineering environment: You define the intent, govern the agents, review the output, and own what ships.

Conditions

Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Work Model: 100% Remote

Contract: Indefinite-term employment contract

Salary: Negotiable
