Staff Solutions Architect

• Guide architecture for KFC Global technology initiatives
• Guide market digital commerce and restaurant technology integration architecture across KFC Global
• Design and review cloud-native solutions on AWS
• Review integrations, APIs, service boundaries and system responsibilities
• Review and guide front-end architecture for web and mobile applications using React and React Native, including integration with backend APIs and shared platform capabilities
• Review data and event-driven designs where needed as part of broader solutions
• Identify architectural risks, trade-offs, and opportunities for reuse
• Represent KFC initiatives through Yum!'s Architecture Review Process
• Provide technical guidance to engineering and product teams

You Have

• 7+ years of software engineering, solution architecture, or platform architecture experience

• Strong experience designing distributed, cloud-native systems on AWS

• Experience with digital platforms, microservices, APIs, and integration architecture

• Experience with React, React Native and Mobile App deployments

• API design and review experience

• Experience integrating cloud platforms with enterprise or in-store systems

• Experience producing architecture diagrams and technical decision records

• Experience participating in architecture reviews or technical governance

• Strong technical judgment and communication skills

• Digital commerce or omni-channel loyalty experience

• POS, restaurant, or retail technology experience

• Azure experience

• Familiarity with messaging, event-driven architectures, and data platforms

• Enterprise Architecture or architecture governance experience
