Benchmark Therapy and Rehab is a large therapy practice providing services to a multitude of providers in Home Health, and we are seeking compassionate and driven Physical Therapist Assistants to join our therapy team. For this Opportunity: Benchmark Therapy provides therapy in geriatric healthcare in the home settings that produces measurable outcomes through therapy interventions to truly make a difference in someone's life. Position Summary: Physical Therapist Assistant- Home Care Requirements and Responsibilities: Assists one or more Physical Therapists in evaluating and providing treatment to help patients recover from injury, disease, or surgery in a home care setting. Prepares patients and equipment for therapy and implements treatment plans specified by the therapist. Instructs the patient and guides them in exercises and stretching. Provides hands-on therapy and treatments. Records patients' reaction to treatment and provides status reports at the end of each treatment. Requires graduation from an accredited physical therapist assistant program. Requires a state physical therapist assistant license. Reports to physical therapist.
