State Manager - VIC

Your Role As the leader of your state, you'll drive commercial performance, develop high-performing leaders and create exceptional guest experiences across a portfolio of boutiques and surplus stores. You'll foster a values-led culture and ensure every store consistently brings the Assembly Label brand to life. This full-time role is ideal for a commercially minded leader who is passionate about developing people, building meaningful connections and leading with purpose. You make thoughtful decisions that support both people and performance. Key Responsibilities Leadership Lead, coach and develop, Cluster Managers, Retail Business Managers and Leaders. Build a high-performance culture centred on accountability, development and engagement. Identify and develop future leaders through succession planning and coaching. Foster a positive, inclusive and values-led team culture. Commercial Performance Deliver sales, profitability and wage outcomes across your region. Drive performance through strong execution of Conversion, IPT, ATV and guest experience. Analyse business performance and identify opportunities for growth. Ensure disciplined management of labour, productivity and operational costs. Guest Experience Bring our Community Connections philosophy to life in every store. Coach teams to create meaningful guest experiences that build loyalty and advocacy. Lead through presence, observation and in-the-moment coaching. Operations Ensure operational excellence across all locations. Partner closely with Head Office across Product, VM, Marketing, Operations and People & Culture.
