Role Overview:

The Integration Analyst will develop specifications for technical database designs and enterprise storage infrastructure. Develop and participate in operational and installation procedures relation to installations of technical databases, integration of Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Backup/Recovery requirements. Review structured diagrams for the specifications of technical databases and storage area networks. Develop guidelines and upgrade techniques of new operational procedures for the support and backup of databases. Converts and implements new databases or upgrades existing systems.

Responsibilities:

• Implement standards-based end to end solution designs leveraging defined processes. Implement and support platform configurations in coordination with telecommunications, storage, directory services and security, ensuring the solution is in line with defined standards and policies.
• Document the detailed provided solution.
• Recommend alternative solutions to include diagrams, scope, benefits and risk analysis.
• Implement and support hardware/software acceptance plans that leverage acquired test data for enterprise systems. Run tests to determine the accuracy of configuration logic to produce desired results. Debug and revise configuration based on test results.
• Review, understand, implement and maintain standard hardware/software configuration specifications that detail what new storage hardware and software configurations or enhancements are to occur to existing systems in the environment and coordinates and validates their implementation including Logical Unit configurations, Storage Area Network port assignments and configurations, and security access.
• Configure, implement, test and maintain server, compliance, storage or backup-related support software systems on the hardware network servers.
• Coordinate and validate the support and maintenance activities for automated data processing systems and storage system support applications within the storage environment validating against General Operating Procedures.
• Plan, coordinate, and validate the implementation and maintenance of storage hardware and software systems
• Develop and implement databases and storage area networks with user departments and data centers. Serve as liaison with users concerning requests for SAN and technical database requests.
• Review requests for enterprise database solutions for accuracy.
• Plan, coordinate, and validate the configuration, implementation, testing, and maintenance of third party storage support software on storage systems including the integrating of vendors support applications into the enterprise storage environment using standard storage support toolsets and security protocols.
• Develop, implement and monitor information technology quality assurance standards.
• Analyze and resolve escalated problems to identify storage systems and operational efficiencies and failure patterns. Plans, coordinates, and validates the implementation of storage system and operational efficiencies based on standard solution offerings.
• Configure, implement, test and maintain storage systems on the network. Convert and implement new databases and/or storage devices and upgrade existing systems.
• Evaluate new standard technology designs and plans for the coordination to integrate into the current environment for hardware consolidation of storage centralization, to reduce operating costs and the storage environment complexity.
• Research new technologies, policies, standards, and procedures as subject matter expert and coordinate associated training.
• Analyze and resolve problems to identify network hardware system and operational inefficiencies and failure patterns.
• Provide support in the preparation of reports and correspondence related to assigned network hardware and software systems following defined policies, standards and procedures. Maintain familiarity with and understand the basic application of FedRAMP, FISMA, HIPAA, IRS, NIST and PCI regulatory guidelines. Understand CIS, CJIS and MCP security regulations.
• Assist senior level position in addressing and providing information requested during regulatory audits.
• In collaboration with Audit Compliance, utilize tools to verify, remediate and audit servers and other hardware/software for regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or IT Related field; OR Associates + 2 years of relevant work experience; OR 4 years of relevant work experience
• Veteran, Active Duty or Retired Armed Forces
• Basic Windows OS, server, and storage knowledge
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, collaborative and eager to learn!
